In the past , when the network generation is not popular , the people usually receive informations from tv , magazine , newspaper .Some mainstreams media such as TVB , Oriental Daily News are providing our daily lives news.But ,when Network generation was popular , there are many ways to go online ,and the mainstreams media are not necessarily an objective and impartial news coverage to people, people(especially teenagers )are willing to spend more times to receive online media ’s informations on internet .
This project aims to find out how and why Hong Kong teenagers like using online media rather than traditional media and to analyze the importance of online media.

3.1)In-depth interviews with two teenagers who have usually receive news from online media.

Dear Edward, Please start doing your interviews. In the meantime, you need to review "uses and gratifications theory" in your final work. Please check Media Culture 1 powerpoint. The three articles are relevant but they are not able to enhance your development of theoretical framework. Please start doing your interviews and briefly discuss your preliminary findings in the next blog.
