My target interviewers are Korean manic youths in Hong Kong. The question would be: Why do you get involved so much in Taiwanese film than Korean film?

The purpose of my research project is to find out why Taiwanese film affected this generation of youth more than Korean film, what is the element or plot that affect their mind. In the last few years, Korean culture started to invade the youths on television by playing K-pop music or entertainment TV shows. The youth who were born in late 90s grew up listening and watch Korean music and dramas. The Korean culture has shaped contemporary Hong Kong's youth consciousness and aspiration. For instance, they would like their partner is someone who has great shape or gentleman just like in the Korean drama.  Why it is significance because if it is talk about movie, everything get reversed. Hong Kong youth are still consuming Taiwanese film because the plot might make them feel get involved or some collective memory pop up which is Korean film couldn't bring them. Although Korean culture is dominated the whole media consumption of Hong Kong, but not the film surprisingly.
